Hi my Name is Nancy Hicks and I have created this go fund me page for my DAD (Russell Watkins). My dad broke his hip. He was in the Navy and worked hard his whole life. What little bit of Social Security he gets he would put aside some money to help pay for some insurance if he got sick. He has been paying this insurance. When he broke his hip and was in the hospital for weeks and then to a rehab to help him to get better, they let us know more of his bills would have been covered if he had not paid for that insurance. What?? that's a shame. Trying to take care of himself the best he could and he will owe a lot more because of it.

It is sad he lives in a small apartment and now is worried about his bills. They said cancel that policy he has because that does not cover much and they want to kick him out April 2 when he can't walk. If we cancel the policy he may be able to stay a little longer. So we have to cancel that policy and all the bills racked up from the hospital and surgery he will owe a lot. Not only that They say all the rehab and assistance he will need when he gets out may not be covered. Today is his Birthday he is 88 and he wants to get better, get back walking and to his dog.

He is so worried and that's not how it should be no amount is to small and I appreciate more that you know. I am just heart broke that we are all going through this at an already rough time. God Bless and Thank You
