Help Navy Fight Coonhound Paralysis

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your help. Our sweet puppy Navy has become seriously ill, and we’re doing everything we can to give him the fighting chance he deserves.

What started as a few off days quickly turned into something far more serious.

After several vet visits and emergency care, Navy has been diagnosed with Coonhound Paralysis—a rare and frightening condition that affects the nerves and can lead to full-body paralysis.

Also known as Acute Canine Polyradiculoneuritis, this disease attacks the nervous system, making it incredibly hard for Navy to move or even stand on his own. Right now, he’s in a critical phase and requires intense care, round-the-clock monitoring, physical therapy, and time. The good news is that recovery is possible—but it’s a long and difficult road.

To give him the best possible chance, we’ve traveled to Massachusetts to be near a veterinary hospital that specializes in cases like Navy’s. We’ve been staying in a hotel room nearby for the week so we can be close to him, support his care, and be there the moment he needs us.

If you know us, you know how much Navy means to our family. He’s not just a pet—he’s our baby, our shadow, and our joy. Watching him struggle has been heartbreaking, but he’s still wagging his tail, still full of love, and still fighting. We’re not giving up on him.
