Hi, my name is Naudia, and I’m a high school student living in a rural area in Virginia.
Earlier this week, I was involved in a serious car accident on the interstate. My car rolled over, and although I’m incredibly grateful to say that I survived with only minor injuries, my vehicle was completely totaled.
Living in Surry, having a car isn’t a luxury. It’s how I get to school, work, and see my friends. Without it, I’ve lost my only way to get to my job, which means I’ve also lost my source of income and a big part of my independence.
I’m currently dealing with the physical and emotional aftermath of the accident, and on top of that, I’m now trying to figure out how to move forward without transportation in a place where there are very few alternatives.
I’m hoping to raise $5,000 to help me afford a reliable used car so I can get back to work, continue supporting myself, and regain some normalcy in my daily life.
Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to me. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this with others would also be incredibly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give. ❤️
