On January 6, 2025, Natalie Sepulveda, or as we call her - Nati, went in for Spinal Fusion surgery to correct her scoliosis. The surgery took about 6 hours, and it went okay—or so we thought. She was supposed to be walking the next day and going home that same week. However, she encountered complications, and as of today, January 16, she is still hospital-bound on strict bed rest. Nati is dealing with a cerebrospinal fluid leak (CFL), among other complications. The cerebrospinal fluid leak is not something we expected, and it has been very hard to watch Nati be bed-bound for this long.

Nati’s mother, Yaritza, is a hardworking single mother of 4 beautiful kids who range in ages 15-6. Yaritza has been by Nati’s side this entire time and is unable to go to work. Being the sole provider and having to miss so much work, Yari is now facing financial stress. As a family, we have done as much as we can, and this GoFundMe is not something we wanted to do; this is our last resort.
