Nathan has a new heart!

Many of you have followed Nathan’s story since he was admitted to Hopkins over a month ago, and some of you have even followed him since he was born there over 19 years ago with several congenital heart issues.

He has some hard weeks of recovery in front of him, but I know he is up for the task. He is an amazing and strong young man!

Thankfully, they have good health insurance, however, there are deductibles and prescriptions, as well as parking, hospital food, and travel expenses…

And Beth had to give up her new job so that she could stay with Nathan at the hospital as his primary caregiver and advocate. She will continue this throughout his hospitalization and months of recovery, which will be spent in Baltimore at the Ronald McDonald house. I know many of us want to help but don’t know how or what to do. Most importantly, please keep Nathan in your prayers. That is sustaining the priority need.

If you are able to help alleviate the additional stress of financial needs, Beth said it would be such a blessing to have any help meeting their $3300 deductible as other expenses continue to climb. I know it will be greatly, greatly appreciated!
