I'm reaching out with a heartfelt request during one of the most difficult times in my life. I've been diagnosed with Chiari malformation, a serious neurological condition in which part of my brain pushes into my spinal canal. This has caused a range of debilitating symptoms, including severe headaches, dizziness, numbness, vision problems, and extreme pain in my extremities. This debilitating illness has made it impossible for me to continue working.

The condition is progressing, and without surgery, I face the terrifying possibility of permanent nerve damage or paralysis. My doctors have strongly recommended urgent brain surgery to relieve the pressure on my brain and spinal cord and prevent further damage.

Unfortunately, because I’ve been unable to work, I’ve lost my regular income, and the cost of maintaining insurance has become extremely high. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses for the surgery, follow-up care, and ongoing treatment are far more than I can afford on my own.
