Hi, I'm Betty, and I am reaching out to ask for help during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. My 12 year old grandson, Nathaniel is scheduled for critical open-heart surgery to repair the Aortic stenosis, Bicuspid valve.

At 12, Nathaniel is a bright, active, happy, artistic boy who loves basketball, video games and Pokemon cards. Nathaniel should only be worrying about school and friends, not worrying about getting open-heart surgery.

This surgery is essential for Nathaniel to live a healthy normal life, but it comes with immense challenges. We will be traveling to Nemour Children's Hospital in Orlando, FL for the procedure. This will require travel, lodging, and time off work. Enrique and Mimi want to be by Nathaniel's side during and after his surgery, but the financial burden is overwhelming.

We are humbly asking for support during this difficult time. Support to cover medical deductibles, uninsured expenses, travel and lodging expenses, and living expenses while taking unpaid leave from work.
