As many of you may already know, Chico’s life as he knew it changed forever on the night of November 8th, 2024. After being tragically shot, he was left paralyzed from the waist down. In an instant, a vibrant, hard working and loving 23 year old was forced into a reality none of us could have ever imagined.

With the support of Chico’s family and friends we were able to raise almost $27,000 to help Chico with medical costs & payments as well as his family who was paying for parking fees and gas. We will forever be so grateful for all of those who donated & shared the previous Go Fund Me.

When Chico was first hospitalized, doctors told him he would never walk again. It was a devastating prognosis, but he never gave up hope. Through God’s grace, sheer determination and intense rehabilitation, he’s already defied the odds; he is now able to move his left leg. In just a short amount of time, he’s made incredible progress, showing us all that his story is far from over.

After extensive research and consultations, Chico has discovered that stem cell therapy may offer a real chance at restoring some mobility and improving his quality of life. Unfortunately, this kind of treatment is not covered by insurance and comes with a high cost.

We are raising $60,000 to help cover the expenses of two rounds of stem cell therapy shots.

Chico has shown incredible strength and determination in the face of this unimaginable hardship. He dreams of standing again, regaining independence, and living fully, not just surviving.
