Hi, my name is Nathan Jack Tomassian.

I was born in the United States Of America and came to Australia when I was 5 years old. Australia has taken me in as one of their own and I am very thankful and proud to be part of this magnificent Country.

I love sport and running has helped me express myself in a positive way.

I also love challenging myself by competing with other Athlete’s.

I have been working very hard on the track and training every week to reach my goal to represent my state of NSW.

After competing at my school athletics carnival I advanced to the zone and had to compete against my local schools.

I placed 1st in the 200m sprint and broke the record which had stood strong for 12 years. That’s when I was born!

I then advanced to the regionals and had to compete against very talented athlete’s which was quite challenging.

I managed to place 3rd in the 200m category and advanced to State championships.

The pressure was on but I was confident that I had a shot and I gave it everything I had and i placed 3rd !

I was presented with the opportunity and honour to be part of Team NSW against every state in Australia.

I will be travelling to Canberra in November to compete at the Australian Institute Of Sport - School Sports Australia

This journey is very expensive for my family as I need to purchase my uniform, accommodation, travel and other expenses involved for the event.

I am kindly asking my community to contribute any amount you could afford to help me reach my dream.

Thank you and wish me luck at Nationals
