Nathan's Road to Recovery - Motorcycle Crash

⚠️ WARNING - graphic photos of injuries⚠️
On thursday, October 14th, we received the call every parent dreads most......
At 1:43pm, we received a call from the trauma ER at Tampa General Hospital. The young man on the end of the line informed us Nathan was in a motorcycle accident and said he was currently in the ER.
Once arriving to the ER, after what felt like a million years later, we were finally able to see him. Although they had prepared us on what we should expect you can NEVER prepare enough to see your baby lying in a bed, hooked up to all kinds of machines, and looking as if he had just gone 12 rounds with Mike Tyson and lost.
Slowly, the details about the severity of his injuries began to be relayed to us; broken orbital bone, broken cheekbone, multiple fractures in his nose, several missing or damaged teeth, fractured jaw, and the scariest and potentially worst part, a small brain bleed. Not to mention the stitches and multiple cuts, bruises, and abrasions all over his body. Thankfully he was wearing his helmet or this would have been fatal.
Fast forward to saturday, October 16th and miraculously, Nathan was discharged and able to come home with us!
The brain bleed that the doctors were concerned about is small and should go away on its own. However, Nathan still has a very long road to recovery! Moving around is very limited because of the road rash on his knees and legs. He can only eat very soft food that does not require chewing because the fractured jaw and his mangled mouth and lips from broken teeth and he is missing his front bottom teeth.
This is where you come in. Unfortunately, he does not have insurance as he just started a new job, and as you can imagine, the hospital bills are adding up. Not to mention future doctor appointments, corrective surgeries for his nose and/or teeth and cost of paying off his mangled motorcycle.
On a side note, we do not know how the accident occurred and are still waiting to get our hands on the report from the Florida Highway Patrol. Once we have this information we will update this post.
P.S. it was very hard for us to even post this. After a lot of thought we decided that this post isn't pressuring anyone, but only asking those who are able to help.
If you are unable to donate, please just pass this GoFundMe page along. Thank you! You are appreciated!
