Help Nathan Overcome Cancer and Financial Strain

My name is Nathan. I'm 45, living with my recent wife in our home in Abingdon, Virginia. I moved here back in 2004 and struggled for many years trying to make ends meet. I worked many jobs, but with my experience, it was still a struggle. I've worked with juvenile delinquents, trying to set them on the right path for many years. I worked with the Virginia Department of Forestry for a while as a volunteer Wildland Firefighter and loved every second of it. But as time changes, so do we. The place I worked with juvenile delinquents shut down in 2018. But with every door closing, another one opens. I started a good job with good benefits and pay. But in 2023, things slowed down a lot, causing me to lose my job and go from making good money to making almost minimum wage, which caused me to keep hunting for a good job. I finally found a good job with decent pay last October. I finally started to get back on my feet, but everything in your past catches up eventually, and I started getting garnished ($660 a month), forcing me again to make around minimum wage. However, for around a year, I had this bump on my head. I didn't think anything of it, but it kept getting bigger and more red like it was spreading. So my doctor sent me to a dermatology doctor. They did a biopsy on this, and it came back as non-Hodgkin's B-cell lymphoma (cancer). I've been through several tests and just recently went through another biopsy, all while doing what I can to keep my job while making ends meet. Now I'm stuck asking for help with travel, testing, treatments, etc., as cancer is an expensive disease to have, and insurance only goes so far with it. So far, my bills have topped over $4,000 (not including travel and loss of work expenses) that I owe after insurance, and I haven't even come close to beginning treatment yet. I am asking for any help possible, but I understand if you can't. Thank you and God bless.
