Help Nathan Mugford

First and for most thank you for taking the time read this. Nathan Mugford has a passion for Motocross racing.  He is a passionate, hard working 17 years old who absolutely loves the sport of Motocross.  Nathan was the victim of theft when his 2020 Honda CRF250r motocross race bike was stolen from him in Moncton, New Brunswick on September 12, 2020.  Nathan was attempting to sell his bike as he normally does each season to upgrade to a new model for the coming race season.  During the sale Nathan was given counterfeit Canadian bills and the bike was driven away from the scene.  The truck used in the theft then drove off as well.  Nathan was left confused and absolutely devastated that someone could do this to him.

RCMP have been involved to help track the individuals and the vehicle used in the theft but have had no luck to date.  This is a federal crime so the RCMP said they will continue to work towards finding out who did this, but it has not been easy.

NOW WE NEED YOUR HELP FOR NATHAN!!

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Nathan and his family.  They are great people who work hard to allow Nathan to participate in our great sport of Motocross.  I know they are too proud and would not want to organize any type of fundraiser on their own.  So,  I have taken the initiative to help this great family out so Nathan can get a new bike for next race season!

I got to know Nathan and his family over the last couple summers at our race weekends and I feel absolutely devastated that this happened to them.  Nathan is a promising young rider that loves every minute he spends at the tracks and on his bike.  Wide Open Racing (WOR) invited Nathan and his family to join our Motocross  team this past race season and we have been very happy to have them on board with us.  Nathan and his family travel to all of the Atlantic Canada tracks to practice and train and have stayed dedicated even with the complications that COVID placed on our race season.  The closest track for Nathan is over 3 hours from him home and they have continued to stay committed to his team and this Sport.

I DO NOT want this theft to be the end of the road for Nathan is his Motocross journey!!!  As we all know any family that does Motocross have to love it as it is a very expensive sport.  After talking with Nathan and his family they still owe a significant amount on the loan balance for his 2020 Honda CRF250r that was stolen from him.  The family can not just go out and buy another one as that is not financially feasible for them.

MY GOAL is to raise enough funds to help Nathan and his family to replace his bike so he can continue to pursue his Motocross goals coming into the 2021 season.  I know nothing in life is fair but what happened to Nathan is just unimaginable and doing this for him and his family would help provide a ray of light during this dark time for them.  Life is hard but this can make their life easier and give Nathan some hope that there is way more good people in this world than bad.

PLEASE FELLOW MOTOCROSS FAMILY, FRIENDS, and OTHERS please help us reach this goal so Nathan can get back on that bike and twist the throttle WIDE OPEN!!

ANY MONEY RAISED ABOVE THE COST OF THE LOAN OWED ON HIS STOLEN BIKE WILL BE DONATED TO THE IWK.

Thanks you all from the bottom of my heart for any donations that you can make !!!
