Help Nathan Damas Reach the World University Championships

Hi, for those of you who don't know me my name is Nathan Damas. I recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati this spring and during my freshmen year I joined the UC Rowing Club team. Over the course of my 5 years there, my passion for rowing grew and the goal of competing at the Olympics one day also grew. During a co-op last spring, I spent time at Long Beach Rowing Association where I spent twice a day training 1-on-1 with a coach in a single where my skills, fitness, and dreams grew. After completion of that co-op I finished my last year at UC where I also competed in the single as well. Within the last 5 months I joined a High Performance Team led by Coach Marc Oria, where my rowing abilities rapidly increased. With his help I was able to place second in the Men's Open Single at ACRA and was awarded an invite to compete this Summer at the World University Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands. This Opportunity consists of a three week camp in Ann Arbor, Michigan followed by a week and a half trip to Rotterdam where I will compete over a 3-day window against some of the best athletes of my age in the world. The cost of the trip is around $5,000 and I am looking to fundraise to help cut the cost down. This trip would allow me to experience what its like to compete with some of the best athletes in the world as I continue my journey to hopefully compete at the 2028 LA Olympics.
