Help Nathan Recover from Post Concussion Syndrome
Donation protected
Nathan Isaac is recovering from post-concussion syndrome. His vibrant, outgoing personality has won him many friends whom we are now reaching out to for help.
At 6 years old, Nathan got his first concussion. Due to age and temperament factors, together with a lack of knowledge on the family's part, bedrest and proper care after the accident did not happen. Several years later he got another concussion and to date has had about 10, none of which he properly healed from. Through his childhood he often had headaches and fatigue and slept poorly at night. After a recent, more severe accident, he was admitted to the hospital twice with life-threatening swelling on his brain.
In summer of 2024, as post-concussion symptoms increased and worsened, Nathan could no longer work at his job. He suffered constantly from severe headaches and mental stress, balance loss, and increasingly blurry vision. He and his family realized that immediate medical care was needed.
He saw a concussion specialist for a short time and learned that his heart rate was frequently reaching over 200 bpm. His brain was failing to communicate a normal pattern to his heart, resulting in chronic fatigue and physical illness.
It became apparent that more intensive treatment would be necessary. Tickets and accommodations were purchased to spend two weeks in Washington for neurotherapy. With family and many prayers, Nathan set out to find healing.
God chose to answer our prayers. With brain maps and counselling the doctors helped Nathan's brain and heart to reconnect and heal. He came home and began working immediately. We are very thankful for the miraculous healing and have much hope for his future.
As Nathan's siblings, we are asking for financial help to cover the cost of this trip, treatment, and accumulated expenses from about 6 months off work. Any contributions you feel to give will be sincerely appreciated and go toward the debt accumulated in making this miracle possible.
