Help Nathan & Ashley Through Tough Times

Nathan, a military vet, and Ashley, a CNA, have been having a bit of a rough time. It started with Nathan being laid off from Deeres during their giant layoffs. Then Ashley became pregnant. During pregnancy, she had to not only deal with the normal pregnancy symptoms, but she had gestational diabetes and had to administer insulin injections. Then she ended up with strep throat and COVID-19. As if that wasn’t bad enough, she then contracted the Norovirus. And that’s not all; after all that, she got mononucleosis. She missed a lot of work due to being so sick.

During this time, Nathan had tried the adventure of being a car salesman. Cool, right? Well, not really. While he sold vehicles, he never sold enough to make the incentive pay. Then came delivery day, and guess what? They didn’t want to give Nathan any time off. Well, he chose the birth of his son over selling cars. Delivery went great with no major hiccups. Ashley and Greyson both did well and went home as normal. That’s when Greyson decided he wanted to lose weight instead of gain. So the fun began switching formulas, adding to breast milk, and alternating breastfeeding with formula.

During this time, Ashley woke up in the middle of the night with cold sweats and running a fever over 102. So off to the ER they went with Greyson in tow. Ashley ended up being admitted to the hospital with postpartum endometritis. The doctors were afraid she was septic, so they treated her as if she was. IV antibiotics and lots of rest. After 3 days in the hospital, she was finally discharged on her birthday. Nathan got a different job and was working towards his CDL. Things were going okay; Greyson had gained weight and wasn’t due to go back to the doctor until he was 2 months old. But now here they are, 10 days before turning 2 months. Now Greyson is having issues with bowel movements and still spitting up a lot. Go to the doctor, and guess what? He isn’t gaining weight. Now they have him admitted to the hospital. He has to stay admitted until he consistently gains weight three days in a row.

Needless to say, they are having a bit of financial trouble. They could use some help with expenses and paying their bills.
