Support Nathalie Marte's Dance Dream in Australia

My name is Nathalie Marte, and I am a rising Junior in the Dance Conservatory at SUNY Purchase. I've been given an incredible opportunity to study abroad in Australia for the Fall Semester through the dance program. This is an experience I’ve dreamed of since the day I was accepted into college. This program will allow me to grow not only as a dancer but also as a person by immersing myself in new styles, cultures, and communities that will shape my artistry in ways I could never imagine from home.

As the first in my family to have an opportunity like this, I carry this moment with deep pride and responsibility. Studying in Australia will allow me to work with world-renowned choreographers, explore international dance techniques, and represent my community on a global stage. However, my family can only provide so much to help me make this dream become my reality. I am reaching out to ask for your support to help me have the funds to sustain myself while I am there. Any contribution will bring me one step closer to this life-changing journey.

Me llamo Nathalie Marte y soy estudiante de tercer año del Conservatorio de Danza de SUNY Purchase. He tenido la increíble oportunidad de estudiar en Australia durante el semestre de otoño a través del programa de danza. Esta es una experiencia con la que he soñado desde el día en que me aceptaron en la universidad. Este programa me permitirá crecer no solo como bailarina, sino también como persona, al sumergirme en nuevos estilos, culturas y comunidades que moldearán mi arte de maneras que jamás podría imaginar en casa.

Como la primera de mi familia en tener una oportunidad como esta, llevo este momento con profundo orgullo y responsabilidad. Estudiar en Australia me permitirá trabajar con coreógrafos de renombre mundial, explorar técnicas de danza internacionales y representar a mi comunidad a nivel mundial. Sin embargo, mi familia solo puede aportar hasta cierto punto para ayudarme a hacer realidad este sueño. Les escribo para pedirles su apoyo para que puedan contar con los fondos necesarios para mi sustento mientras esté allí. Cualquier contribución me acercará un paso más a este viaje que cambiará mi vida.
