Hi!

My name is Nathalia and I’m from Queens, NY. I am first generation American and College student. I graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia of Music & Art and Performing Arts High School in 2023. I'm hopefully a rising 3rd semester student at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

I have sung my entire life and performed in many shows in NYC. I was on the resident youth ensemble at Tada! Youth Theater for many years while growing up, and it strengthened my love for the arts.

During my time at LaGuardia Arts High School, I realized I wanted to pursue writing music for myself and others. 

After having completed my first year at Berklee I have discovered my passion for music production and arranging. Although, tuition is my only barrier from realizing these dreams. Being first generation American and College student, I want to inspire young girls to be confident and establish their place in any part of the music industry. I am majoring in Contemporary Writing and Production to further my music career on my own terms. The ability to create and produce my own music especially as a Hispanic woman is essential to my journey. 

 

I have a single mother who had surgery earlier this year and has lost many work opportunities due to her impaired mobility. Unfortunately, I don’t qualify for private student loans. I received about 30k in scholarships and financial aid for the whole year but I have to pay 18k for this upcoming Spring. I have always felt uncomfortable asking for help but this seems to be my last resort as the school will not grant me any more money.
