My partner Nathaniel was recently diagnosed with cancer. He has multiple large masses in his chest and neck. This past week Nate underwent surgery to remove some of the cancerous nodes in his neck so that his oncology team could get some more information as to what he is dealing with. He currently cannot lift more than five pounds, which if you know Nate, you know how much of a hindrance this will be on his life. Whether he is making windows at work or repairing cars, this man is always moving.

To make matters a little more stressful, we are going to be without housing after the 13th of June. We have been looking for places to live for six months now, but it just doesn’t work out. It is terrifying for me to think of my partner going through cancer treatment without having a home to heal in.
