Help Nate recover financially & secure his life in Canada

Nate is a young musher based near Winnipeg, Canada. He’ s a big animal lover and his kennel of 17 dogs a family to him. Nate has recently fallen on some hard times, which is jeopardizing his livelihood and could lead to him having to give up his dogs and life in Canada.

Nate partook in mushing races with a business partner last year and is being withheld his 50% share of the earnings of around $6000 CAD.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t have the legal means to get the funds back from his former partner, which he is now missing to defend himself as he is currently facing a lawsuit after being wrongly accused by a third party.

Despite at one point being homeless in -40°C with his access to his dog team being denied by the former business partner, Nate has managed to get himself and his dogs in a safe place and find new strength in his connection to nature. However, he now needs some outside help to secure his situation and start over from here.

Nate is a sweet and loving guy with a big heart who unfortunately put his trust in the wrong people. Since he has only recently moved to Manitoba from the Yukon, he also hasn’t had a chance to find his place in the local queer community to look for help there.

If you have money to give, please consider helping out Nate with a contribution however small. Anything Nate receives he ultimately gives back to his animals and community by putting all of his love into his dog family and the people around him. As a young trans man he’s been defeating barriers anywhere he goes and now needs help to continue to do so.

The goal is to raise $10,000CAD so Nate can cover the losses from last seasons fraud and continue to manage the legal fees in the traumatizing lawsuit that has already left a deep mental scar and added to his PTSD.

A percentage of the gathered funds will be used to establish his endeavors in starting a therapeutic nature based healing community that connects through weekly live-streams, a podcasts with guests and social media posts to bring the benefits of animals and nature to adults and youth struggling with video game addiction as a result of escaping their reality. Nate knows first hand how difficult it is to live an authentic life as a mentally disabled transman with indigenous roots in a foreign country in which he is an immigrant himself. Despite being highly functioning when given a chance in a stable environment, there is challenges that he cannot take on by himself and is now relying on the love of his family, friends and supporters ❤️

Nate ist ein junger Hundeschlittenführer aus Oldenburg der sich seinen Traum erfüllt hat und nach Kanada ausgewandert ist. Er ist ein großer Tierfreund und seine Hundefamilie besteht mittlerweile aus 17 wunderbaren Hunden. Nate ist zuletzt aufgrund von Betrug und Diebstahl mit einer ehemaligen Geschäftspartnerin in eine schwierige Lage geraten, die seine Existenz akut gefährdet und dazu führen könnte, dass er sein Leben in Kanada aufgeben muss.

Nate hat letztes Jahr mit einer Geschäftspartnerin an Schlittenhunderennen teilgenommen und seinen Anteil von 50% an Gewinnen bis heute nicht ausgezahlt bekommen.

Leider hat er nicht die finanziellen Möglichkeiten, das Geld von seiner ehemaligen Geschäftspartnerin zurückzubekommen. Das Geld fehlt ihm nun, um sich legal zu verteidigen nachdem er darüber hinaus von einer Drittperson zu Unrecht beschuldigt wird. Der legale Prozess ist extrem traumatisiertend für einen indigenen, transman der zudem mental beeinträchtigt ist und aufgrund seiner Herkunft und Identität im kanadischen Justizsystem nicht sicher ist.

Nate ist ein guter und liebevoller Kerl mit einem großen Herzen, der leider sein naives Vertrauen in die falschen Leute gesetzt hat. Da er erst vor kurzem aus dem Yukon nach Manitoba gezogen ist, hatte er auch noch keine Gelegenheit, seinen Platz in der lokalen Queer-Community zu finden und dort nach Hilfe zu suchen.

Wenn ihr etwas Geld übrig haben solltet, zieht bitte in Erwägung Nate zu unterstützen. Alles, was Nate erhält, gibt er letztlich an seine Tiere und die Community zurück, indem er seine ganze Liebe in seine Hundefamilie und die Menschen um ihn herum steckt. Als junger Transmann überwindet er überall, wo er hinkommt, Barrieren und braucht nun Hilfe, um dies auch weiterhin tun zu können. Mit deiner Hilfe kann er nicht nur diese Saison an Wettkämpfen teilnehmen, sondern er möchte auch anderen Menschen die starke therapeutische Wirkung von Tieren und der Natur näher bringen.

Das Ziel ist es 10.000 CAD zu sammeln, nicht nur damit Nate die enormen Anwaltskosten dieses traumatisierenden Prozesses decken kann, sondern auch um eine Community zu gründen die durch wöchentliche Live-Streams, einem Podcast mit Gästen und seinen Social Media Plattformen Instagram und TikTok Aufmerksamkeit über mentale Gesundheit schaffeb soll. Insbesondere möchste er Erwachsene und Jugendliche mit Videospielsucht an den Vorteilen von Tieren und Natur teilhaben lassen. Eine Sucht die Nate aus erster Hand erfolgreich überwunden hat und nun seine Strategie mit anderen teilen möchte.
