Help Nate Get Back On His Feet After Cancer

He would never ask for help on his own, so we are doing this for him. His whole life has been about helping others: he served his country overseas for over 14 years, fighting the war and helping people in Afghanistan and Iraq, and even started a non profit helping veterans in his community since 2017. If there was ever a guy that deserved a helping hand, it would be Nate. Most know him by ‘Chappy’, and besides helping others, most would know him by his fierce dedication to family friends and country - and how he would never have his hand out begging or be too proud to ask for help, but he needs our help.

This year Chappy was diagnosed with cancer. He fought it, went through chemotherapy, and beat it. While fighting the cancer, his wife of 16 years also divorced him leaving him shattered. Through all the horrible things he’s had to endure, he never lost his smile or smart comments about it - laughing it off whenever asked. Between not being able to work his oilfield job while going through chemo, the awful recovery from the cancer, medical bills and child support – he has been left financially devastated. He’s exhausted his savings, sold anything he had left, and is borrowing money from friends just to eat or see his kids. Nate deserves better than this.

After everything he’s done for our country, his community, his family and his friends – this is the time that we should help him, when he needs us. Let’s give him a helping hand getting back on his feet, back to his oilfield job, and building a life for himself and his children.
