After years of struggling with addiction, I’ve been clean and sober for four years. While I’m proud of how far I’ve come, my past left me with severe dental issues. I need extractions and dentures, and the condition of my teeth has made it hard for me to feel confident or even look people in the eye. I often feel ashamed to open my mouth, and it’s affected my self-esteem and daily interactions.
Now that I’m in recovery, getting my teeth fixed is a huge milestone for me. It’s not just about my health—it’s about reclaiming my confidence and moving forward in my new life. I have an appointment scheduled for January 27th, and I’m ready to take this step. My parents are helping as much as they can, but I don’t want them to carry the entire financial burden.
If you’re able to support me, you’re not just helping with dental work—you’re helping me continue my journey of recovery and self-respect. For anyone else struggling, I want you to know it’s never too late to get your life back on track. This is a big piece of me getting mine back, and I’m grateful for any help along the way.
