Help Nate and Leaya Overcome Health and Financial Struggles

Hello,
Most seeing this probably know me, but my name is Nate Alaimo.

Life happens. Things turned south when my wife became ill and physically has been unable to work in 2022. I struggled to keep us afloat, but did not earn enough. Then in June, I lost my employment. At the time, I was not concerned because in the casino industry I never had a problem finding employment. Not this time; it's now November and I'm still out of work.
At this point, I'm applying everywhere, even at fast food here shortly (I've hesitated because I'll need two of those jobs to make ends meet, but at this point, I have no choice).

My wife is having much-needed surgery this week, a robot-assisted total laparoscopic hysterectomy, bilateral salpingectomy, cystoscopy, with a possible unilateral oophorectomy, and excision of deep tissue endometriosis, which will have a long recovery time. We hope she can start working again in February. But the endometriosis is a lifelong disease making her disabled. She has her disability hearing on the 13th of November.
Leaya also has many appointments, including a neurologist and rheumatologist for pain in her hips (Leaya's family has a long history of rheumatoid arthritis that crippled her grandmother throughout her life). The neurologist is to address dizzy spells she's been experiencing. During this surgery, Leaya will also be getting tested for cancerous cells as 10 years ago her tumors in her body were first discovered via breast biopsy and she was told she has a high risk of cancer as her mother had cancer when she was 40.

In the meantime, I sold everything I could. My photography gear was sold off a while ago. I tried to sell my art, but no one wanted it.

Since then, we've lost our apartment and are staying with family. We did get SNAP, which helped, but those benefits are up in the air and suspended right now, and Leaya only gets $246.00 for temporary cash assistance for the needy and disabled.

I do not want to borrow any more money as paying it back will become difficult and it isn't fair to indefinitely borrow from others.

Whatever is left of the funds will go to medical care for Leaya and medical bills that Medicaid does not cover.

Bills have piled up and I can't lose my car as that will make getting employment even more difficult and would ultimately keep Leaya from getting to the appointments that she needs to get to for her treatments.

Thank you in advance for considering this. Please do not donate if it puts you in financial distress. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much.
