This is our dear friend, Natasha and her sweet son, Charlie.

Natasha is a single mom, devoted daughter, caring sister, loyal friend, adoring nurse, beloved colleague, eternal optimist — and now, a fearless fighter.

On December 1st, 2021 Natasha was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), a rare and aggressive form of breast cancer and unfortunately, one of the hardest to treat.

Over the course of 2022, Natasha will endure an aggressive treatment plan that includes 16 chemotherapy treatments and undergo a radical double mastectomy. Her journey will be difficult and long, so we’re aiming to support her in any way that we can.

Natasha’s family, friends, and community have surrounded her with outpouring love and emotional support, but the last thing we want her to worry about during this time is finances and money.

In addition to helping her take care of her medical bills, our goal is also to help cover the logistical and practical needs related to her treatment. Here are some items your donation will help cover:

Medical expenses including high deductibles and co-insurances, spanning over two years (and possibly a third year) with continued measures to assure no recurrence

Multiple surgeries and some will require travel, lodging, and all post-operative needs

Meals and groceries

Lost income due to missed work during treatment as well as post-surgeries

If you know anything about Natasha’s story, you know that she's spent the past 20 years selflessly taking care of others when they needed it the most. Now, this is the chapter where we (her family, her friends, her coworkers, her classmates, her patients, her neighbors) get to take care of her.

Natasha is a true warrior, and we know that she’ll fight this with a smile on her face like only she can.
