Hello, my name is Addison Segarra. I am the lifestyle director at Oaks at Cedar Shoals. I am fundraising on behalf of Natasha and her family. Natasha works for Oaks as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Helping and caring for our senior residents for over 2 years. On July 20th, 2023, During a massive storm in Athens, GA, A tree fell on Natasha's van, totaling it. The tree was so large that it also landed on her house, pulled a power line down, and started a fire in the attic that spread. The house is a total loss, between the fire and the flood. The fire chief told Natasha that a small tornado came through there. 7 people were living in the house. Natasha, her elderly mother, 4 of Natasha's kids and her 3-month-old grandson. They lost everything but the clothes on their back. They cannot retrieve anything from the house or car. Natasha is an incredibly hard worker and a dependable team member. For someone that cares so much for others, it would mean the world to see this community come together and support this family. The donation money will be used to provide suitable housing, clothing, food and support for this family in such a trying time.
