Help Natalie's Journey to Beating Cervical Cancer!

News About Natalie:
Our sweet and beautiful friend Natalie Long has been recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. At only 29 years young, this news has drastically changed the course of Natalie’s life at the moment and definitely has been a shock to her and her loved ones. 

Treatment So Far:
Natalie has already undergone multiple surgeries, procedures, scans and still has more ahead of her, including the possibility of chemo/radiation depending on the outcome of upcoming surgeries.

Fertility Going Forward:
She is planning to freeze her eggs since she received the unfortunate news that she will not be able to give birth and she would like to have the option of exploring other options down the road such as surrogacy etc. This news of her not being able to carry her own child has been extremely hard for Natalie to come to terms with in addition to all of the other obstacles as being a mother has always been one of her greatest desires. She loves children more than anything and devotes her time and treasure to them — currently sponsoring a child in Haiti named Meme whom she loves and by serving in the children’s ministry of her church for the past several years.

We’re trying to find the words to describe Natalie, but there are truly too many to choose from. She is a ray of sunshine for those who are lucky enough to know her and such a selfless soul. She is the most loyal and supportive person in all of her friend's lives. She looks for the light in every situation and can make anyone laugh no matter the circumstance. Natalie is a travel queen and finds joy in experiencing other cultures, people, and places while embracing spontaneity. She always makes friends along the way and touches people's lives wherever she goes. She is a friend, loving daughter, amazing sister & aunt, has a strong connection to her faith, and so so much more. 

How To Best Communicate With & Support Natalie:
Nat has several weeks of healing ahead after the biggest surgery yet. Please check back here for all updates — we will streamline communication by posting all news/updates she is comfortable sharing as soon as we can. All texts & words of encouragement will make a huge difference so please continue to text/send those her way for her to have handy as she recovers. Please note she might be a little delayed at responding to all of the sweet messages, but she will be seeing all of them. 

Nat has a long road ahead of her and we want to help remove any financial stress and alleviate the financial burden for medical expenses so she can focus on her physical, mental, and emotional strength during this time. Any support will be so appreciated and will go directly toward her procedures, healing, and setting her up to have options when she’s ready to start a family.
