HELP NATALIE WITH TRANSITION COSTS

Hi!

This is Natalie, a trans woman from New Jersey living in Athens and working as a poet.

I am creating this Gofundme to raise money to pay for her gender affirming surgeries and other transition costs, which unfortunately are either not covered by insurance or very expensive for her to pay by herself.

Natalie has been on hormones for the last 4 years and is aiming for the next steps in her transition, which she has been seeking for years now.

For her, gender affirming surgeries as well as name change are crucial for her mental health and well-being. They would provide her with more stability, comfort, safety and freedom to be herself.

Unfortunately trans health care is still very limitative as gatekeeping many trans bodies from existing and it is still impossible to get these treatments without having to pay a huge amount of money.

This amount of money would go to the following procedures:

⁃ Partial costs of bottom surgery (which is covered by insurance, but you still have to pay extras)

⁃ Down payment of FFS with Facial Team

⁃ Passport change

⁃ Final sessions of hair removal

Natalie is a very dear person to me, a very talented and brilliant mind with a beautiful heart. I am asking you to please help her achieve a better life with fewer obstacles and dangers in which she can achieve everything she wants.
