Hello Everyone, I am currently seeking help on legal fees for an unfortunate circumstance. I’ve encountered an unfortunate car problem (details below) on my way home which led me to pull over and wait for a tow truck.

In the midst of 10 mins prior to it getting there, I was tested 0.09% (.01 over the legal limit). I understand the dangers and have no excuse for my mistake.

Even if I held a clean driving record, was not driving recklessly, nor felt I was too impaired to get onto the road…I’d like to bring awareness to the situation and help others understand that mistakes happen, even if there are things that are out of your control- even being .01 above the legal limit.

My car’s inner fender had cut into my passenger side’s front & rear tire while I was driving. Very scary situation. I safely pulled over to the shoulder and waited for tow. 10 mins before tow arrived, I passed all tests other than the breathalyzer sitting at a 0.09%.

It was an unlucky circumstance, but I am currently fighting my case as it stands. I’ve hired a great respectable lawyer to guide me through this process of clearing the charges as no obstructed driving was present.

That 0.01% is the difference between a simple car fix and a mountain of legal issues. Even knowing your own limit may still be insufficient as the breathalyzer test may say otherwise. I’m going to be using my social media platforms to bring awareness to the dangers of drinking and driving.
