Help Natalie to get cancer treatment in Israel

On 1/12/22 at 1:54 am Moscow time, my Mother, Natalie Tsaryova, lost her battle to stomach cancer.  It is very painful time for all of us and we thank each of you for your support and words of advice and encouragement. We found ways of that we never knew it is possible in such a difficult time. 

Please say a prayer for amazing woman that I knew all my life. I'm shocked how fast we lost her to stomach cancer, we founded oncologists who were ready to start chemo for her, but Ultrasound of lower extremities on Jan 11th showed that her blood vessels had blood clots all over. It was just the matter of time when she will pass. Whole family was with her at the moment when she took her last breath. 

She is no longer experiencing pain and suffering and knowing this brings the Family comfort going through grieving process. 



Hello everyone!

 

I hardly ever ask for help, but today I need to reach our community with shocking news, my Mother, Natalie Tsaryova, 74 years old, was diagnosed with stomach carcinoma, with metastasis in liver.

 

She is the most loving, caring Mother to me, my sister and all her 6 grandchildren. Absolutely amazing and faithful Wife to my Father. They celebrated 50 years anniversary in August. She is always true to her words, and great Friend to everyone who knows her. She never smoked or consumed an alcohol. We are shocked to hear about this diagnosis, because she never complained about her health.

 

She went to hernia surgery in October 16th, and prior to this date her blood work was normal. Surgery went well, but soon she started to loose weight rapidly, constantly throwing up and fainted. She was taken back to the same clinic, where they performed gastroscopy and took biopsy (they supposed to do that before her hernia surgery). On Dec 24, after Liver Ultrasound and repeated gastroscopy with biopsy oncology Consilium give us devastating news that my Mother have stomach cancer, with metastasis in liver: no surgery, radiation or chemo treatment is offered at this time. She is sent home for symptomatic care. She is being approved for palliative care. Most generic medications are covered by her medical policy.

 

We are trying to get second opinion. Most clinics are closed until Jan 10th.

 

I called several Oncology hospitals in Israel, and they stated that they do have treatments for her condition, but we have to stabilize her condition so she can fly there. They can send request through Ministry of Health in Russia and within 7 days get the approval for her treatment. 7 days she should be on quarantine, but medical personal will start her care right away at the hospital.

 

We prepare her medical history for international medical team.

 

Doctors from palliative care treat my Mother right now with pain management, support her blood pressure, and she started to gain weight.

 

In USA several drugs are offered for immunotherapy, I'm trying to get these medications in Russia.

 

Cost of treatments:

 

MRI - $1,500

Immunotherapy - $5,000 (medical personal cost)

Drugs for immunotherapy - $8,000

Targeted therapy - $5,000

Stomach surgery - $30,000

 

Tickets and hospital stay: $15,500

 

Total amount: $65,000

 

It is very large amount of money that we don't have right now. I will try to collect as much as we can, within a month, so we can do Immunotherapy, MRI and stabilize her condition, good enough to fly to Israel in Springtime.

 

I know it is nasty form of cancer, but hope and love dies last. We can't just sit and watch her die. My soul is literally crushed. I must stay strong, offer care and support to my Mother and my Father who loves her so much.

 

I will leave home 4 children with my husband, so I can fly on Jan 18th to Russia, to see my Dearest Mother, Father and face together the immortal cells.
