Natalie is a single mom that is Emily’s only caregiver. Once Emily gets her new heart, she will be on lockdown for eight weeks, and Natalie will be Emily’s caregiver 24 hours a day, keeping her from being able to work and support Emily and all of her bills.

Natalie is a devoted single mom who has weathered more than most of us can imagine. She was blessed with three beautiful children: Shayde, Emily, and Ethan. While her son Ethan is healthy, both of her daughters were born with a rare genetic condition that caused them to develop restrictive cardiomyopathy. In 2014, the unimaginable happened when her oldest daughter, Shayde, passed away at just 15 years old due to complications from a heart transplant.

Now, her surviving daughter, Emily (23), is facing a terrifying and urgent battle. She is in need of her third heart transplant. Due to severe coronary artery disease that cannot be treated with stents. At any moment, she could suffer a fatal heart attack.

Doctors are working quickly to get Emily back on the transplant list with the hope that a donor heart will become available within the next 30 days. In the meantime and through transplant, Natalie must once again pause her life and career to be by her daughter’s side during this critical and uncertain time.
