Hello! My name is Natalie Parkinson, and I’ve been given the opportunity to study abroad in Hawaii through JMU.

This experience would mean a lot to me because it’s a chance to learn other cultures. This would be my first time traveling overseas and on an airplane! It’s something I’ve really been hoping to do, and I’m excited for everything I’ll gain from it.

I’ve been working and saving money from my job over winter break and in between classes. I have already covered about half of the cost. I’m hoping to raise the rest to help pay the program expenses.
