I am reaching out as the loving aunt to my amazing niece, Natalie Caudy, and sister to her incredible mother, Kait. Today, I am writing to share an update on Natalie's story and to ask for support as Natalie, Kait, and Cadence embark on a critical journey towards her recovery.

Natalie's Journey

After a long and arduous process of waiting, we have finally received the incredible news that a liver match has been found for her. This news has brought immense relief and gratitude to our hearts. We are overwhelmed with the love and support that everyone has shown us during this difficult time.

However, the journey is far from over. Natalie's liver transplant surgery is just the beginning of a long road to recovery. The surgery itself is complex and carries significant risks, but Natalie is a fighter, and we are confident in her strength and resilience.

The Road Ahead

Following the surgery, Natalie and Kait will be living in the hospital for the next few weeks. During this time, Natalie will be under constant medical supervision to ensure her body accepts the new liver and to monitor for any complications. The emotional and physical challenges they will face during this period are immense.

Once they return home, the challenges will continue. Natalie will require 24/7 care for several months. This means that Kait will need to be by her side at all times, ensuring she receives the necessary medications, treatments, and support to aid her recovery.
