Hi, I’m Natalie. I’m 33 years old, and I’m currently facing one of the scariest chapters of my life.
After years of painful periods, irregular bleeding, and constant pelvic pain, I recently received a diagnosis of atypical endometrial hyperplasia — a precancerous condition that, in my case, is already “bordering on adenocarcinoma,” a type of uterine cancer. This isn’t just a warning sign — it’s a red flag that cancer may already be present.
Because of the severity of my condition and how quickly it could progress, my doctors have scheduled me for a hysterectomy — removing my uterus and cervix to hopefully stop the cancer before it spreads. I’m keeping my ovaries so I don’t go into early menopause, but this is still a major and life-altering surgery, especially at my age.
I’m scared — not only of what they might find during surgery, but also of how I’ll manage physically, emotionally, and financially in the weeks and months to come.
Due to ongoing pain and medical appointments, I’ve already had to reduce my work hours, and I’ll be unable to work at all during my recovery. I’m a hard worker and someone who tries to carry my own weight, but this is more than I can handle alone.
That’s why I’m reaching out and asking for help.
Your donation — no matter how small — will help cover:
• Medical bills
• Prescription costs
• Rent and basic living expenses while I’m out of work
• Transportation to and from appointments
• Any additional treatments I may need depending on the final pathology report
I know times are hard for so many people right now, and it means everything just to have people care and share. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this link or sending some encouragement my way. It all helps more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for walking this path with me. I’m doing everything I can to fight for my health — and your support gives me the strength to keep going.
With love and gratitude,
Natalie
