Our friend, Natalie Aversano, was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer. She is fortunate enough to be exploring some of the best options for care at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina, and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

To know Natalie is to love her and know her genius. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, she has made her mark around the world. She graduated from Charleston’s Academic Magnet High School and went on to earn a degree from Wofford College, where she continued to inspire those around her with her creativity and curiosity. She holds a fire within her that carries her far - from living in Italy and Copenhagen, to traveling to Vietnam, London, Iceland, Germany, and many other places. Natalie is the friend we all go to for an adventure.

Natalie has a long road ahead. We’ve created this GoFundMe to help her and her family with the costs of medical care, traveling to and from appointments, hotel stays, and other expenses that come with long-term treatment. Chemotherapy options and clinical trial opportunities are being explored all over the country to find the best possible path forward. While future expenses remain uncertain, your support will help ensure Natalie and her family can pursue every opportunity available.
