Hello, my name is Chelsea, and I'm creating this GoFundMe for my mother, Natalie.

Just a few weeks ago, we received devastating news: my mother has been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. No one can ever be prepared for news like this.

My mom is 65 years old and has lived a life filled with challenges — it has been far from easy. Facing this diagnosis at this stage in her life feels like an especially cruel blow. But if there's one thing to know about my mother, it's that she is a God-fearing, courageous, and incredibly strong woman.

When I saw the financial burden this diagnosis would place on her — the cost of chemo, radiation, and related care — I knew I had to do something. Starting this fundraiser is not easy for us. We are not people who are used to asking for help, and this feels very vulnerable to share.

But time is critical. If we can't raise funds soon, her treatment may be delayed. The good news is that her prognosis is hopeful with proper treatment. That is why I have created this go fund me.
