My name is Igor Bubis. I was born in Ukraine and came legally to the United States in the spring of 1990. America has become my motherland, yet my heart remains tied to Ukraine, especially during these devastating times of war.

Last night, tragedy struck my dear friend Natalia and her family in the Vinnytsia region of Ukraine. At approximately 11:30 p.m., their building was attacked by a military drone-operated bomb. Natalia lives on the second floor, and after the first strike, five more bombs followed.

Miraculously, Natalia, her husband, and their two children survived. But their home and possessions are nearly gone. They are left with almost nothing, and the road to recovery will be long and difficult.

This family has lost the comfort and safety that every person deserves. They need immediate help to rebuild their lives — for shelter, food, clothing, and basic needs.

I am asking for your generosity in this heartbreaking moment. Any contribution, no matter the size, will directly support Natalia and her children as they begin to recover from this unimaginable loss.
