I'm in recovery and working hard to rebuild my life. I work 40 hours a week, go to meetings, and have responsibilities in my sober living house, where I'm the secretary for the housing services committee and the president for my house. I also go to church twice a week. Even with all this, I still can't keep up with my bills. I'm behind on my car payments and, after paying rent, I barely have enough left for other expenses. My credit isn't good enough to get a loan, and while I'm grateful for food banks and the support I've received, I'm in a really tough spot right now.

Getting another job or starting something like DoorDash would take away from my recovery plan and my connection with God, which are both really important to me. I've been praying for help, and I know that if I don't ask, I won't receive. That's why I'm reaching out now. I need some help paying bills over the next month or two. The donations will help me pay back my family for loans, cover my rent, catch up on car payments, get car insurance, and pay legal bills related to my car registration. I also need to replace lost documents and take care of necessary car maintenance like an oil change. I just want to feel comfortable and safe, knowing that my car won't break down and that my basic needs are met.
