Hi! My name is Natalia Padró González, and I’m a freediving athlete from Puerto Rico. This September, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to represent my island at the AIDA Freediving World Championships in Limassol, Cyprus—a world-class competition that brings together the top freedivers from around the globe.

To prepare and give my absolute best, I need to arrive at least two weeks before the event (starting September 20) to train and adapt to the conditions. That’s why I’m asking for your support in helping me cover essential costs like travel, registration, training, and equipment.

Currently, I’m Puerto Rico’s top-ranked freediver, and I’ve set national records 10 times. I proudly hold all four national depth discipline records, and I’m working hard to keep growing—both in depth and pool disciplines.

But for me, freediving is more than a competitive sport. As an ocean conservation advocate, I see it as a lifestyle, a therapeutic practice, and a profound way to reconnect with the sea and ourselves. I believe that by nurturing our relationship with nature, we can build a more conscious and compassionate world.

Representing Puerto Rico on the world stage would be the honor of a lifetime—and every contribution, no matter how small, helps make this dream a reality.
