Help Natalia and Milani: Support a Ukrainian Refugee Family Rebuild Their Life in Poland
In the wake of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, many families were forced to flee their homes, seeking safety in neighboring countries. Among them are my dear friend Natalia and her daughter, Milani, who have been living in modest refugee housing in Poland for over two years. Unfortunately, they cannot return to Ukraine, as their home is no longer safe.
Natalia is a dedicated single mother with a master's degree and a professional career in Ukraine. Since fleeing, she has worked tirelessly, cleaning homes and businesses to provide for her daughter. She does everything she can to ensure Milani has the best life possible under the circumstances and continued challenges.
Recently, Natalia purchased a 25-year-old car to help her travel to her cleaning jobs. While it has allowed her to earn a living, the car now desperately needs repairs. Without reliable transportation, she struggles to get to work and provide for her family. This winter, as the cold sets in and work becomes even harder to rely on, Natalia needs help to repair or replace her car. This will give her the stability she desperately needs to keep her job, continue supporting Milani, and slowly rebuild their life in Poland.
By donating, you can directly contribute to giving Natalia the security she deserves. Many people are wondering how they can help Ukraine right now. Supporting this mother and daughter in their time of need is a powerful way to make a meaningful impact.
Please consider donating today and share this campaign to spread the word. Every little bit helps—your generosity will provide Natalia with the ability to get to work and ensure that her daughter continues to thrive despite the hardship they’ve endured.
I will close by sharing that Natalia is an incredibly proud woman and I had to beg her to let me post this. She says she is ashamed to ask for help. To that I say, she could use some support right now and this is the least I can do for her and Milani.
