HELP NATALIA FIGHT BONE CANCER

Natalia is just 15 years old. Living with parents, Lucas and Dorota, and disabled brother Jacob.

It all started with knee pain that became unbearable with each passing week.

Since January, we had visited GP numerous times, but her symptoms weren't fully understood. When referral was made to Pediatrics, we were told wait times is up to six months.

As her condition worsened, we decided to take her to Poland for additional tests.

THAT DECISION CHANGED EVERYTHING

Within days, Natalia was diagnosed with an aggressive bone cancer — OSTEOSARCOMA, which has already spread to her lungs.

This isn’t the first time our family has faced something like this

Some of you may remember Jacob — Natalia’s brother — who was born with Cerebral Palsy and needed a life-changing operation to improve his mobility and independence. With the incredible support of friends, family, and the wider community, the family were able to raise the funds for his surgery and ongoing treatment.

We never imagined we would be here again.

And yet, here we are — facing another devastating diagnosis, this time for Natalia.

Natalia is now under specialist care and will begin urgent treatment, including:

• intensive chemotherapy

• major surgery on her leg

• treatment for small tumours found in her lungs

This will be a long and demanding journey.

This situation has placed enormous emotional and financial pressure on the family.

• travel between countries and hospitals

• accommodation during treatment

• allowing her parents to stay by her side

• day-to-day living costs during this time

• supporting Natalia through treatment and recovery

We are heartbroken, but we are also determined.

Natalia is strong, brave, and surrounded by love.
