Hi, my name is Cesar Zapata, and I am fundraising for breast cancer warriors and research in honor of my sister, Natalia Diaz Weissman. Natalia is a breast cancer survivor.
This fundraiser is dedicated to two organizations close to Natalia’s heart: the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and the Mount Sinai Dubin Breast Center in New York. Both are leaders in research, care, and support for women fighting breast cancer.
In May of this year, Natalia was diagnosed with breast cancer for the third time. Over the past decade, she has faced three separate battles with this disease, enduring surgeries, treatments, and the emotional and physical toll that comes with it.
Most recently, she underwent a mastectomy, full axillary lymph node removal and multiple surgeries and treatment. Despite the pain, fear, and setbacks, Natalia continues to face life with unwavering strength, faith, and hope.
Natalia credits early detection, her extraordinary medical team, and annual screenings for saving her life. She is passionate about raising awareness so that other women understand the importance of early screenings and never lose courage in the face of this disease.
But, Natalia’s story is not just about her own battle. Even while undergoing treatment, she has always reached out to support other women with breast cancer, offering emotional care, wellness advice, and small but powerful gestures that remind them of their beauty and resilience. Her mission has always been to make sure that no woman feels alone whether the battle is medical, physical, or emotional.
This fundraiser is dedicated to two organizations close to Natalia’s heart: the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and the Mount Sinai Dubin Breast Center in New York. Both are leaders in research, care, and support for women fighting breast cancer.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Together, we can help fund research, provide care, and spread hope for women everywhere.
Thank you for standing with my sister Natalia and with all the incredible warriors, survivors, and women still fighting. Natalia will continue to fight, advocate, and inspire, and with your support, her impact can reach even further.
