help! the NHS broke my lady parts!!!! as many of you may know in January 2024, my life was changed forever - by a surgical injury and artery bleed at UHCW for a day patient procedure. I crashed from blood loss and woke up permanently disabled.

You really don't know what you have until it's gone - Imy business, mobility, life goals, fertility, mental health, physical health, social life, relationships. For over two years, I’ve fought for answers while managing severe neuropathic pain, loss of leg sensation, daily bowel and bladder dysfunction, and fertility complications. I've spent this summer in and out of hospital, teeth breaking from damage during muscle spasms, weakness, unable to eat and trapped in my home.

Navigating this has been incredibly hard on my physical and mental health, despite doting friends and others in my support nerwork. The costs of care alone are so high that some months I am spending between £600/2000 pounds per month. Between surviving in London, arranging social care, and paying a total of £17,000 out-of-pocket so far— I've reached the final lifeline in my treatment plan. Spinal surgery (neuromodulation).

This year, I had to accept using a wheelchair intermittently. My goal for next year is to sell that wheelchair on eBay. My specialists have recommended inserting a neuromodulation device during spinal surgery to target my damaged genitofemoral, oburator and pudenal nerve. This device is my absolute lifeline and last resort as my quality of life is so poor now I am considering assisted suicide in the future, which ironically is cheaper than the permanent device, which is totals the average house deposit.

Initial Device Cost: The funds raised here are strictly for the initial trial device to prove the treatment works.

intended outcome; this is to hope to put a case forward to the NHS to fund the permanent device, which I believe is a reasonable request after causing the damage to my body and life that has left permanent, life long complications.

Proving the success of neuromodulation is my highest chance for a breakthrough—to drastically improve my daily quality of life, restore my independence, and give me back my future. I have already responded positively to tens machines to know this type of treatment may be suitable for me, and reduce the limitations of using a tens device that cannot get deep enough to the pain or block the damage nerve signals firing.

this fundraiser is a stepping stone for getting my life back, or building a new one. Thank you for every donation, share, and bit of support.
