We are Nat and Ian, a couple who are passionate about humanitarian work and making a difference where it’s needed most. In February 2025, we are planning to head to Ukraine for 10 days to support two incredible charities: Mission Ukraine and HopeFull. Between us, we’ve already been to Ukraine three times to support these charities, and we are ready to go back to continue helping those in need.
Edit: We Hit Target!!
Even before the start of the New Year we have hit target! Thank you so much to everyone who has donated. We have raised the target so we can fill the cars with more medical gear and generators. Any extra donations at the end of the trip will be split between the two charities who will be continuing to support the Ukrainian people through this war. Again, thank you so much. We will post some visual updates in the new year and throughout our mission.
We’ll be working with:
- Mission Ukraine: This charity delivers essential support mainly to those who provide emergency medical aid directly to the frontlines, ensuring that lifesaving supplies get to those who need them most.
- HopeFull: Delivers hope to war-torn communities by serving up a simple hot meal with warmth and compassion.
Our trip has two main goals:
1. Deliver Medical Equipment: We are raising to fund medical gear, particularly extrication equipment, through medical auctions. We will also be driving a 4x4 vehicle into Ukraine, where it will be converted into an off-road "ambulance" for use in high-risk, hard to reach areas.
2. Provide humanitarian care to the Ukrainian people: As well as cooking and serving free pizza, we will also be there to show empathy, give hope and spread some joy.
How You Can Help
We’re aiming to raise £1,000 to cover:
- Medical equipment, essential items for frontline emergency care.
- Fuel and insurance to get the 4x4 safely into Ukraine.
- Generators: Any excess funds will be used to buy generators that will travel to Ukraine in the 4x4s, a critical lifeline during Ukraine’s freezing winters.
Every penny you donate will go directly toward saving lives and supporting those impacted by the ongoing conflict.
