Hello my name is Nassor. I'm a 12 year old author and artist with a once in a lifetime chance to go to the Philippines with Soulciety’s Bridge program! But I need your help to make this opportunity a reality. 


The Bridge Program was created by Soulciety, a non-profit organization that’s based in the Bay Area. Since 2005, Soulciety’s Bridge Program has brought volunteers from California to the Philippines to provide aid and education to schools and youth in the rural areas. The next Bridge trip is scheduled for this coming November in Taal, Batangas.


Through The Bridge Program, I will install new technologies in rural schools and will help to improve their education by expanding their tools for teaching and learning, access to information, and improving student educational outcomes.


I will also teach educational workshops in computer education, the power of story telling and drawing, which I am excited to share my love for writing and drawing with other children my age.


I recently published a comic book over the summer entitled Sonar, my hope is to share my book with youth there. 


In addition to sharing my book with the children in the Philippines, I will be documenting and journaling my experiences during my trip I will use these stories and experiences to create my second comic book.


I feel very called to participate in this program. 

I have a vision to build higher platforms for my generation and coming generations. This trip is apart of my legacy work. I hope that through The Bridge Program, I can build a better perspective of the world, my cultural roots, family, and myself.


I would like to ask for your help to fundraise for my participation in this program. My goal is to raise $3,500 by November 15th.
