Hi friends,

Unfortunately the repairs to our fire damaged apartment have taken longer than expected. As a result we have had to extend our temporary housing, and on top of that, we had an unexpected (and expensive) dental emergency arise while without dental insurance.

My dentist said my dental issue was likely caused by the extreme increase in stress caused by our situation.

We would never have made it through the first couple months of this without everyone’s support. If anyone has the ability to help us out with anything additional it would mean a lot.

Hi everyone,

Our names are Cas and Nasser and we are seeking support after a devastating fire in the building next door severely damaged our apartment and belongings.

Unfortunately, we did not have renter’s insurance at the time of the incident, so we are raising funds to help replace the items in our home that are unsalvageable due to smoke, fire, and water damage.

We also need assistance to help cover vet bills for our two cats, Zeke and Teddy, who required testing for respiratory issues and toxicity due to being exposed to smoke and carbon monoxide. Thankfully, so far they both seem to have come through it unharmed.
