I was born in Philly and raised in PG County, and I've spent my entire college career at George Mason proving I could do this on my own. I've paid my own tuition since sophomore year, worked multiple jobs, led three student organizations, and earned internships at Microsoft and AT&T.
In May 2026, I'll walk across the stage with my Computer Science degree.
I couldn't have done it without this community. 256 of you showed up when I was $9,106.75 short for my final semester, and because of you, that's actually happening. Thank you, genuinely, from the bottom of my heart.
Now I'm facing the next gap.
I chose to study computer science because I believe technology can change lives, and it genuinely changed mine. In high school, programs like Google Code Next, Kode with Klossy, and Columbia's Girls in STEM Initiative put me on this path. That journey led me to internships, conference stages, and a full-time TPM role starting in Seattle this August.
I have the job. Relocation assistance kicks in then, too. But when I sat down with my mentors recently and they asked me "okay, now what?" -- I realized I'm not in the clear yet. I'm moving across the country alone, with no family financial support, covering three months of expenses on part-time internship income before any of it kicks in.
We worked through a budget together. The need is real.
If you're able to contribute or share, it means everything.
Thank you for continuing to show up for me.
