Our 19-year-old family member, Nashawn Stephens, is in the ICU fighting for his life after lupus suddenly attacked his kidneys, causing severe kidney failure. His condition worsened quickly, and he is now undergoing emergency treatments and dialysis as doctors work to stabilize him.

Nashawn is a loving son, brother, and friend with a bright future ahead of him. Seeing him in this critical condition has been heartbreaking. He is undergoing ICU care, dialysis, and ongoing treatment which has been overwhelming for our family. His mother can no longer work full time to provide for her family due to Nashawn’s critical condition and is experiencing financial strain as she has 4 younger children to support.
