Help Nash and His Family Battle Leukemia

Late Monday night on January 17th, Katelyn and Rick got news that every parent prays they will never hear: that their two-year old son Joseph Ignatius “Nash” has leukemia. What started as a pediatrician appointment to check on some bruises led to bloodwork that led to a rushed trip to CHOA where it was confirmed that Nash has a type of leukemia called ALL. The good news is that this is the most common type of childhood cancer and has a great cure rate. Nash is also in great hands at CHOA which is another huge blessing. But Nash and his whole family have a long, hard 2+ year battle ahead of them, which includes many financial considerations. With now having to take considerable time off work to see Nash through his treatment and the many unexpected costs that come with fighting cancer, we know they would greatly appreciate any support offered. Any donations would go towards: every day expenses (groceries, meals, gas, etc.) and bills, therapy to help Nash’s older brother Jackson adjust during this difficult phase of their family’s life, child care for when family is not available, and potentially a downpayment for a second car for their family as they juggle treatments with work and school schedules. Our family wants to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the outpouring of prayers, support, messages, calls, meals and gifts so generously given during this difficult time.
