Help Narmin a cancer patient and her daughter in Gaza

My name is Carla Cooper and I live in the UK. I have set up this fundraiser to help two of my friends who live in Gaza. Narmin Ibrahim Hamdi who is 52 years old and her daughter Reham Saeed Hamdy who is 26 years old. Narmin and Reham are from Jabablia in North Gaza. There is currently a famine in the North and in the last week new massacres have occurred there. The situation is dire.

Narmin’s and Reham’s home was tragically bombed by the occupation, murdering 30 family members including their husbands, children and siblings. They were the only two people in the family to survive. Narmin and Reham were both injured in the bombing. Narmin’s right foot was severed by shrapnel from the bomb that landed on her home damaging the tendons in her foot. Narmin also sadly suffers from Breast Cancer and has been without treatment for over one year since the start of the genocide.

Narmin and Reham had a full life before the genocide and enjoyed spending time with their large family. They owned land and made money from selling their produce to the local community. Reham was also a Maths teacher who taught at a local school.

The money raised from this fundraiser will go towards Narmin’s cancer treatment and medicine for her foot injury. The rest of the money will go towards; food, water, winter clothes, tent materials and equipment. If there is any money left over after all this, it will be put towards evacuating Narmin and Reham from Gaza once the Rafah crossing opens.
