Support for Nar Whitten's Family
Donation protected

For some time, Nar had trouble swallowing her food and was taken to the ER two weeks prior. We were originally relieved that it was a UTI and only needed antibiotics to improve her health. However, the antibiotics were not working. We then underwent more tests with doctors throughout the following week. We then received the heaviest news our family ever faced:
Nar was diagnosed with Stage IV Esophageal Cancer that had spread from her esophagus to her stomach, liver, and lymph nodes.

My mom has always been a strong fighter. She was the last child in a large family living in the Philippines before moving to the United States when she was in high school. She was strong enough to join and thrive in the military as an Avionics Technician for 8 years. She was strong enough to raise three incredible children in Adam (me), Danielle, and Victoria, alongside her beloved husband, Walter, that enabled them to become amazing people like her. Throughout her whole life, she has not lost a single fight, and this battle will be no different. Even now, she has been facing this diagnosis with a positive outlook and looks to fully overcome this disease like it’s nothing. This is by far the toughest challenge she has ever faced, but she won’t fight it alone. She has a well-motivated and powerful team backing her up, from friends, loyal customers, doctors, family, and more she has some of the greatest people supporting her in Nar’s eventual victory over cancer.

In order to accomplish that, we need your help. This will be a long, difficult journey to combat this aggressive cancer so we will need the best resources available. As of now, in order to cover the medical expenses, hospital care, quality of life, and other miscellaneous costs, we will need approximately $100,000.
Any contribution will be greatly appreciated as you join alongside us in this battle against cancer. Please share the GoFundMe with anyone and everyone you know! That can be family members, friends, acquaintances, that sharply dressed man drinking standing in line at your local Starbucks, ANYONE and EVERYONE is welcome here!
And most importantly, keep my mom in your prayers and continue showing love and support to this beautiful woman and one day celebrate as she comes out the other side a victor!
