Help Naomi, Mateo, & Olivia Honor Their Dad

I sit here heartbroken… remembering how I met the love of my life at 17 years old. How a silly joke and a smile stole my heart. God blessed me with the most loving, special, funny, understanding and dedicated man. I was lucky enough, and had the honor to call myself his wife for 11years. We had a beautiful family and a home filled with love. He was such a present and loving Daddy to Naomi (10), Mateo (3), & Olivia (2). No words can express the heartache I felt the night of September 17th when my husband had that devastating stroke. For three long months my baby fought courageously. For three long months he showed all of our family the meaning of selfless love, tough warrior, bravery… through all of the surgeries, procedures, and interventions. Our faithful prayers hoped we would have the blessing to keep him here… but our Heavenly Father had a different plan. With a very heavy heart, I share that the night of December 17th 2024 Our beloved Tavito passed away. Juan “Tavo” Rivas gained his wings. There’s a reason God made Tavo 6’1, he needed room for his big heart! He is an amazing Father, loving husband, loving son, best brother, and everyone’s loyal friend. All of the funds raised will be going towards Tavo’s funeral expenses, with the intention to honor him, and all the happiness he brought into our lives!
